badraie2 Drawing has always interested me. Like many other creative hobbies it is something I wish I got into a lot more when I was younger. Playing guitar is another one of those hobbies but we’ll go into that another time.

Every time I see peoples great work online I sit back and think; “if I had 3 wishes from a genie, one of them would be able to draw anything like a boss”. Well… there is quite a few things I wish a genie could just grant me instantly, but the main point being I just want to skip the slog of learning and become a drawing master.

Now and then I have moments where I look up a few guides on how to get started, how to train your brain and exercises and methods to practice to begin and improve. When it comes down to it though I simply just find something else to spend my free time with and it gets pushed aside for another day.

But when I stumble across more impressive work, or a simple but unique style of comic style drawing, I believe with the time and effort there is no reason I couldn’t be that good. There are moments when I’m sat with nothing but a pen and paper, stuck on the phone or waiting in a game loading screen, those are the moments where I would love to be able to doodle away a great little piece of work.

I have passion to learn to draw, just not sure if I have enough to drive myself to deliberately practice. Guess I better kick my ass into gear though as I’m not getting any younger and it is hardly a tough hobby to get yourself into. I think I over complicate it, like many other things. Just need to chill out and just go with the flow.
